Shunde Xingang Phase II intelligent coil steel warehouse to build two 4-span finished product workshops, specifically for the storage of cold coil. The reporter saw that in the central control room on the second floor, two operators can dispatch eight cranes through the computer screen to accurately and efficiently grasp the coil steel of different models and specifications, and coordinate the deployment of subsequent loading and transportation.

Behind the intelligence is the blessing of key technologies such as three-dimensional laser modeling technology, precise positioning technology, and multiple operation protection technology. The intelligent warehouse uses the principle of laser ranging to scan the surface of the coil steel at high speed, reconstruct the three-dimensional model, and quickly obtain the inside and outside diameter information. This information is combined with the crane PLC (Programmable logic controller) to realize the real-time transmission and exchange of data. According to the received position and positioning information, the vehicle can accurately grasp the coil steel and transport it according to the optimized route of the system.


Compared with the traditional old warehouse, Shunde Xingang Phase II intelligent coil steel warehouse has achieved a qualitative leap. In the past, the warehouse needed personnel on-site command, and the driver needed to find the storage location after arriving at the scene, and may even need to dump the pile. Now, drivers simply park their vehicles in a designated area and wait in a safe zone. The core storage area is unmanned throughout the operation, and the overall automation rate of the intelligent warehouse has reached 99.7%.
